Utilizing our conference system, you can attend support and educational groups from the privacy of your home without the need to travel. The security elements of this conferencing platform allow you to participate confidentially, using your first name only while online. This is an ideal format for those wishing to attend ongoing support groups, particularly if you live in remote areas or communities, have young children at home who would require you finding a babysitter or where you do not want to reach out for help due to your role in that community.
Training on how to participate in this format will be provided by one of our knowledgeable team members prior to the beginning of the series , so you will not encounter difficulties during the group session.
When a partner, son, daughter, grandson/granddaughter enters treatment, families and loved ones seldom receive assistance for themselves and how to support them while in recovery and when they return home. As a result, we have developed a program designed with you in mind.
Each of the six weeks will begin with a different theme and 30-45-minute educational portion of the session, all based around relapse prevention. The second half will be group therapy to assist you with the specific areas where you are presently struggling to support your loved one maintain their sobriety.
